The Acrylic Pens Are A little Harder To Turn Than The Wooden Pens, But The Colors Are Bright and Remind Me of The Marbles I Used As a Kid. They Are Fun To make and These Pens are Very Durable And Last For a Long Time. They Are A Twist Pen and Take A Standard Cross Refill.

Well it may be harder to work with but it produces beautiful results. I think I’d have to have one of each since the colors are so unique I couldn’t decide on a favorite.
